Dallas County's financial situation is good and the quorum court is spreading the wealth.

The county's governing body voted to give extra-large Christmas bonuses to all county employees and elected officials this year in lieu of a raise. Chairman of the county appropriations committee, John Meador, made the recommendation.   <Voice of Meador>

The quorum court voted unanimously for the Christmas bonus proposal.

The issue was discussed at the November meeting of the quorum court held last night.
