The Dallas County Sheriff's Office will soon have a new member on the force, a K-9 unit.

The department is in the process of obtaining a drug dog, according to Sheriff Donny Ford.   <Voice of Ford>

Sheriff Ford says the dog will make daily rounds on the public school campus looking for drugs.   <Voice of Ford>

The sheriff made those comments at last night's quorum court meeting.
