The Fordyce Redbugs football season came to a close this past Friday night at Clarksville.

It was the first round of the class 4A state playoffs and the Bugs traveled to Clarksville to take on the Panthers. An fast paced first half lead into an offensive scoring competition which Redbug Head Coach Clark Watkins says was in Clarksville's favor.   <Voice of Watkins>

The final score of the game was Clarksville 56, Fordyce 34.

Fordyce finished the season with 4 and 7 record, advancing to the playoffs. While the team was a long way from competing for a state championship, Coach Watkins says they made some good strides this year for the program.   <Voice of Watkins>
