Army National Guard Pvt. Gregory L. Jones of Warren has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
 

Jones is an indirect fire infantryman with more than eight years of military service. He will deploy to Iraq with the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team based in Little Rock.

Jones is a member of the National Guard unit based in Warren. He is the son of Lottie Daniels of Warren.
