The News/Talk Leader in South Arkansas

KBJT-AM 1590 Is the News and Information voice for over 15,000 people in a 4-county primary coverage are in South Central Arkansas. With our Listener Friendly talk format, we give our audience an opportunity to participate in the conversation. Our lineup includes syndicated programming such as Doug Stephan's "Good Day Show," "The Laura Ingraham Show" with (who else) Laura Ingraham, the "Jerry Doyle Show" with (you guessed it) Jerry Doyle,  Doug Rye's "Home Remedies," and the "Michael Reagan Show" with conservative talk-show veteran, Michael Reagan.

Our Morning Drive includes local news & information from 7:00am until 7:30am, which incorporates local news, weather, Arkansas State news, National News, and sports. KBJT-AM's forte is local and area news. In addition to the 7 o'clock News Report, we provide local news throughout the day including 12 Noon and 5 O'clock reports. We are this area's ONLY source for daily local news. Because of this, we have a large audience that tunes in every day, not just for entertainment, but because we are the only source of what's going on in their community day after day.

KBJT is unique in its programming because we are the only station that covers three major meetings each month and airs them in their entirety: The Fordyce City Council, Dallas County Quorum Court, and Fordyce School Board.

KBJT broadcasts 24 hours a day to a mixed audience of men and women, White and Black, in the 35 to 65+ age range. Overall, the KBJT Audience tends to be older, generally better educated, more affluent, and more informed.
